PSME gears up for 73rd National Convention: Advancing Innovation and Sustainability in Mechanical Engineering
The Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (PSME) will be holding its 73rd National Convention from October 16 to 18, 2025, at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. This annual event brings together mechanical engineers, students, industry professionals, and exhibitors from all over the country for three days of learning, networking, and collaboration. With the theme “SMART PSME: Leading Filipino Mechanical Engineering Professionals Toward Innovation Excellence and Sustainable Economic Growth,” the convention aims to highlight the role of mechanical engineers in building a smarter and more sustainable future.
Joining this premier industry gathering is Atlanta Industries, a leading manufacturer of thermoplastic construction materials. The company will be showcasing its innovative mechanical solutions and advanced fire protection systems at the event.
Attendees can visit the Atlanta booth to see their comprehensive range of products, including the Blazemaster CPVC Fire Protection System, Fire Sprinkler solutions, the high-quality hot and cold water Flowguard CPVC Plumbing System, Corzan Industrial Piping, and the efficient TS 25-in-1 high-pressure pre-packaged Fire Pump.
Furthermore, Atlanta will use the venue to educate the public on the critical importance of RA 9514, the Fire Code of the Philippines. Experts will be on hand to demonstrate the correct piping systems that are fully compliant with building fire safety standards and explain how a properly installed and functional sprinkler system is essential in controlling and preventing the spread of fire.
The event will feature a variety of activities including technical seminars, CPD-accredited sessions, keynote speeches, and special conferences. It will also host the 13th PHILMACH (Philippine Machinery Exhibition), where companies will showcase the latest in industrial equipment, automation, and engineering technologies. Highlights of the convention include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, exhibit tours, fellowship night, and the proclamation of PSME’s new set of officers.
Engineers and students are encouraged to attend and take part in the different sessions and exhibits. It’s a great opportunity to earn CPD units, gain new insights, and connect with fellow professionals.
