Atlanta joins the annual BIWADA Team Building Activity
The Bicol Water District Association (BIWADA) has once again brought together water districts from across the region for its much-anticipated annual Team Building and Sports Festival, a celebration of solidarity, teamwork, and regional pride. This year, 19 teams from 24 water districts from the region are participating in the event, with Atlanta Industries joining as one of the key partners in support of this initiative.
The festivities kicked off on June 3, opening with a vibrant parade of delegates, followed by the exhibit booth showcase and a banner raising competition that allowed each district to creatively express its identity and values. These opening activities set the tone for the entire event—lively, collaborative, and community-focused.
The evening was marked by a glamorous Gala Night and Governor and Mayor’s Night, where water district leaders, local government officials, and valued partners, including Atlanta Industries, gathered to celebrate the shared mission of delivering quality public service across Bicol. Atlanta’s presence as an event partner highlights its continued support for the water service sector and its stakeholders.
Today, June 4, the event shifts to the sports arena with a wide range of competitions taking place in various venues. From basketball and volleyball to traditional Filipino games, the sports fest offers participants an opportunity to engage in friendly competition, build stronger team bonds, and promote physical well-being.
While the event is rooted in fun and fellowship, it also serves as a reminder of the vital role water districts play in local development—and the importance of partnerships, like that with Atlanta Industries, that help support their growth.
With shared values of community service and collaboration, the BIWADA Team Building and Sports Festival 2025 continues to inspire unity, not only among water districts but also among those who stand with them in service of the region.
